2. Retention Fee Matrix

Refund thresholds and standard retention percentages are calculated strictly based on the specific countdown buffer remaining until the scheduled 12:00 PM check-in hour:

3. Peak Season Peak Windows

During localized peak travel intervals—specifically covering summer breaks, long national holiday weekends, and year-end festival weeks (Christmas & New Year timelines)—all advanced token confirmations are classified as strictly Non-Refundable and Non-Modifiable.

4. Modification & Date Rescheduling

Requests to change stay dates are treated as custom requests and remain subject to dynamic room availability limits:

• Rescheduling requests received more than 10 days before the check-in date will be processed without extra management fees, subject to seasonal tariff updates.
• Modifications proposed under the 7-day limit window will be evaluated directly as standard cancellations under the retention fee matrix.

5. Refund Processing Timeline

Once a qualified refund balance is officially authorized by our administrative folios, the processing timeline spans 5 to 7 operational bank working days. Funds will be credited back via the matching gateway interface or original transaction source deployed during initial payment configuration.

6. Force Majeure & Hill Anomalies

In extreme instances of structural force majeure—encompassing heavy natural cloudburst anomalies, severe landslides blocking major Kumaon transit lanes, or administrative lockdown mandates—the management of LakeSide Inn Nainital reserves the right to issue credit vouchers for future stays in place of cash refunds.
